Discussion Starter · #1 · Dec 1, 2007 I have a 4L60E in my 94 TA and it will not go into first gear , it shifts fine from 2nd to 3rd to 4th and it has rev and there is no ses light but no first. So is it a solinoid or am I S.O.L and need to have it rebuilt. If it is just a solinoid how do I go about replacing it ( a web site would be great) ?. Ive got a 96 suburban, (labeled 2500, VIN says its a 1500) with a 6.5/4L80E combo. 228,500 on the clock. Trans never been touched. Not sure its even had a transmission fluid and filter change.
